How should I store Tahini Neri products?

Our dips require refrigeration to keep them fresh. Our sesame paste is shelf stable.

I noticed dark “specks” in my Tahini Neri Sesame Paste. Is this ok?

These dark specks are completely natural. As an agricultural product, no two seeds of sesame are the same. The black specks are part of the hull & so it’s 100% fine to eat.

I have a jar of Tahini Neri’s Sesame Paste there is a thick layer of oil sitting on the top, what do I do?

An easy blending option is to roll the jar on its side up and down your table bench. The oils will blend with the tahini paste and it will be perfect for use again!

Is the oil in the Raw Hulled Tahini bad for me?

No, the oil within sesame seeds are actually considered healthy! They’re high in “good fats” and high in antioxidants such as sesamin in which have been clinically proven to lower our LDL cholesterol (bad cholesterol) that’s a factor of cardiovascular disease.
